East Limestone Volunteer Fire Department will officially put a new truck into service Saturday, and the community is invited to be a part of the dedication.
A ceremony is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fire house on East Limestone Road, just north of East Limestone High School. The formal dedication ceremony is set for noon, but other events that day will include a LifeSouth blood drive and a fundraiser for the family of Ashleigh Jones, the Johnson Elementary School student critically injured April 18 after being struck by a car.
