A suspect is in custody. Fire investigators in Arab believe he is somehow connected to an overnight house fire. Fire officials put out the fire and say it wasn't long they got credible evidence this wasn't just a house fire. Arab fire crews responded to a house fire on Shoal Creek Road just before 3 a.m. A neighbor called in the fire to say there were flames coming out of the attic, and it was fully involved with fire crews arrived. With the help of some adjoining volunteer fire departments, the fire was contained in an hour.
