The Eastern Division of the International Association of Fire Chiefs is looking for a volunteer Communications Manager. The person in this position, working closely with and at the direction of the Division’s Board of Directors, will assist the Division in setting up and using various communication tools for getting messages and news out to our members and receiving feedback from its members. This person will also assist in developing and implementing plans to market the Eastern Division’s programs and services to its members and the wider fire service community in the Five States region.
This person must be thoroughly familiar with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter as well as website design and be capable of setting up groups (both public and restricted) in each of these areas. Resume’s will be reviewed by the Board and it is anticipated that a selection will be made by mid-September.
