The Pasadena Fire Department Fire Prevention Bureau is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Senior Plans Examiner. Under general to limited supervision, the Senior Plans Examiner reviews building plans, fire protection system calculations and specifications for compliance with established California building and fire codes and adopted national standards, and other applicable laws and ordinances.
 
The ideal candidate is an effective team player who combines technical expertise with superb analytical and organizational skills, and who believes in the mission of the Pasadena Fire Department.
