PHOTO: A fire in the Town of Buffalo Saturday left four pets dead and the home a total loss.
According to a press release from the Buffalo County Sheriff's Office, they received two 911 calls at 4:51 p.m. Saturday for a fully engulfed home on Brandhorst Road in Buffalo.
One of the callers was a neighbor, and said they could not contact anyone inside or outside of the home.
A family of three live at the home, but they were not there at the time of the fire. The family had three cats and a dog that died in the fire, and the home is considered a total loss.
A section of Brandhorst Road was shut down on Saturday while emergency crews put the fire out.
