PHOTO: The Little Rice Fire Department used a fiberglass boat to practice live fire action Monday morning. The crew was made up primarily of support staff and operators, who don't usually get to attack the fires.
Ingman's Service supplied the vehicles for the training.
Little Rice Fire Department's new Rehab Team also participated in practical training, using a vehicle fire as the object.
The department is made up of roughly 23 volunteer members, according to the Town of Little Rice website. It has two pumper/tanker trucks, a rescue truck, rescue UTV and a canteen unit truck which serves the firefighters and those of surrounding communities.
