VIDEO/PHOTOS: Three WSU students were displaced after their house caught fire on Wednesday afternoon, according to Pullman Fire Department.
Around 3 p.m. on September 11, fire crews responded to reports of a house on fire near Howard Street and Opal Street, along WSU's Greek Row.
When they arrived, firefighters saw smoke and flames coming from the roof of the house.
Neighbors who had called 9-1-1 told PFD they had made sure all of the residents got out of the house safely before firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
PFD said the attic was sealed off, so crews attempted to access the flames through the roof but found it to be unstable and changed tactics.
Fire damage was confined to the attic and roof and flames did not spread to the rest of the house.
There was, however, water damage to the first floor living area.
