PHOTOS: Another fire has broken out at the Yakima Training Center.
As of 4:00PM, June 26, around 30 acres were reported to be burning in an area known as Badger Pocket. The nearest accessible road is Exit 11 on Highway I-82, but that is closed to all traffic.
Helicopters and bulldozers have been mobilized to help create a fire line, with Kittitas Fire and Rescue assisting the Training Center Fire Department. The burn is on open land and no structures are currently in any danger, but strong winds are not helping with the containment.
