VIDEO/PHOTOS: A fire station in King County was hit by bullets Friday evening. King County Sherriff’s officials said they were dispatched to King County Fire District #45 around 10 p.m. Friday night. The fire station is on NE Cherry Valley Road, in an unincorporated area east of Duvall. A deputy told KOMO News on Saturday that firefighters reported they "had discovered damage to their building consistent with several gunshots being fired sometime earlier in the evening." "The gunfire likely originated from the road in front of the station," the deputy added. Investigators collected evidence at the scene, and no injuries were reported. As the investigation continues, the sheriff’s office has asked the community for any additional information about this crime. Stu Rowe, the Division Chief of Operations for Duvall-KCFD 45 talked to KOMO about the shooting.
