A garage caught on fire Wednesday afternoon in Kennewick on West Yellowstone Avenue according to Deputy Chief Michael Heffner from the Kennewick Fire Department. All Kennewick Fire Department crews have been cleared from the fire, according to Deputy Chief Michael Heffner. Heffner says there were no injuries due to the fire. The fire was contained to the detached garage, apart from mild charring of a nearby home. Kennewick Fire Department is investigating the fire and will continue the investigation Thursday morning. The nearby house is habitable, according to Heffner.
