VIDEO/PHOTOS: Everyone is safe after a scary scene of water rushing onto the Issaquah ferry near the Strait of Juan de Fuca Tuesday, according to Washington State Ferries (WSF). WSF posted a video on X captured by an employee of water flooding the area where vehicles typically sit during ferry voyages. The video shows a rapid rise in water on the deck, but WSF said damage was minimal and the incident will not have an effect on service. WSF also shared at least one employee's car that was on the Issaquah at the time did sustain damage and had to be towed off the vessel. The agency also said the vessel had no passengers on board except for crew members, and the boat was in the process of moving from Eagle Harbor on Bainbridge Island to Anacortes Tuesday morning during very windy conditions.
