PHOTOS: An adult victim was found dead Tuesday evening following a fire that occurred in the Parkland area, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue.
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue crews responded Tuesday evening to a residential structure fire in the 800 block of 107th St. S in the Parkland area, according to officials. Officials said the garage was fully engulfed in flames, and the fire was quickly spreading to the house as crews arrived.
Central Pierce Fire & Rescue said the adult victim was the only person inside at the time of the fire. At this time, officials have not disclosed the age or gender of the victim.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, officials said.
