Crews with the Spokane Fire Department knocked down a fire at the Sparky's Subs Monday morning. The fire started just before 2 a.m. on East Mission Ave. and North Haven St. An SFD fire official confirmed that the fire was found above an electrical box on the outside of the building, but are still working to confirm the exact cause of the fire. Investigators will return during the day to determine how the fire started and properly evaluate the amount of damage the building sustained. Firefighters were able to knock down the fire fairly quickly.
