VIDEO: Spokane Fire officials confirm two children have died in a house fire in Millwood. Fire officials say they received a call about a house fire shortly before 3 a.m. Monday. When they arrived at the home they saw extensive flames. Firefighters entered the home after hearing reports of two people inside. Firefighters were able to get the two children out of the home and work on them for 45 minutes each. Unfortunately, the two kids died on scene. Two dogs also died in the fire. Fire officials say it took "quite a while" to put the flames out. Investigators are on scene and will remain there for the majority of the morning.
