The public is invited to a memorial service for Ron Roy who died in July after 50 years as a Wenatchee Valley Fire Department volunteer.
Roy was a division chief of volunteers for the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department, and before that worked for the Chelan County PUD.
The memorial service will be held at the Wenatchee Convention Center, located at 121 N. Wenatchee Ave., at noon on Saturday.
Before the service, a procession of fire apparatus and family members will be escorted by a Washington State Patrol motorcycle team from a Wenatchee Valley Fire Department station on Easy Street to the convention center.
