VIDEOS: Crews respond to South Seattle commercial building fire, flames seen from flight

Seattle Fire Department crews responded to a vacant commercial building fire in the 4200 block of Rainier Ave South Tuesday night. SFD first posted about the fire around 6:30 p.m. The fire was then upgraded to a 2-alarm fire. SFD said the front side of the building collapsed. SFD also reported that one firefighter was injured and was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Edward Berry captured the flames as he was on board a flight. Around 9:30 p.m., SFD said the fire was under control and that crews would stay at the scene to monitor flare-ups. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
