PHOTOS: Officials confirmed that the plane that crashed in Snohomish County on Nov. 18 was a part of an initial testing phase, where the goal is to collect aircraft performance data before adding modifications from Raisbeck engineering.
Raisbeck engineering designs, develops, and certifies aircraft safety. These modifications help aircrafts fly faster, carry more passengers, as well as other improvements to flight.
The flight of four included a flight test director, an instrumentation engineer, and two highly-experienced pilots, both with over 10,000 flight hours. The practice of initial testing is an industry-standard that allows firms to gauge aircraft performance, according to officials.
