VIDEO/PHOTOS: A house was engulfed in flames Monday night in Portsmouth. Officials said they received multiple reports of a fire shortly before 8 p.m. on Sea Spray Drive. Firefighters on scene said the home was fully covered in flames when they arrived. The house is currently under construction. Officials said no one was inside the home during the fire. Assistant Fire Chief Howie Tighe said the house was deemed a total loss. The fire extended to two homes that were nearby, and both suffered minor heat damage. It is unclear what led to the fire. The fire is under investigation.
