PHOTOS: A fire broke out Monday afternoon in a home on Logee Street in Woonsocket. Two people and two firefighters were taken to the hospital. Some had to be treated for heat exhaustion. The fire chief told NBC 10 News that the fire started on the third floor and that flames were shooting out the windows. Firefighters hit the fire from the outside to cool it down before they tackled it from the inside. Four families, about six people in total, got out. Rescuers saved two cats, but other animals were unaccounted for. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
