PHOTO: Firefighters responded to Richmond Saturday for a reported pole fire. The telephone pole, located on Switch Road near Chariho High School, was in flames when fire crews arrived. Traffic was temporarily diverted as firefighters waited for Rhode Island Energy to respond. There were no reported injuries.
