Two people were able to safely get out of a Narragansett home as flames ripped through it Saturday night. Firefighters responded to McMillen Way at 8:45 p.m. for a report of a structure fire. Narragansett Fire Chief Scott Partington said a father and son were inside the home at the time and saw fire at the end of the house. Partington said most of the home was consumed by the fire. He said the location of the home was challenging for crews because its on a dead end street and the hydrants are a distance away. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
