The Revloc Volunteer Fire Department is holding a parade this Sunday to celebrate the birthday of a very special little girl. Five-year-old Maisie Irvin of Revloc is preparing for brain surgery next week and the department decided a parade would be a great way to wish her luck. The parade will start at 2 p.m. at the fire department and move around town. Several other local fire departments and businesses will be participating in the parade as well. Chief of Revloc Volunteer Fire Department Richard Nihart says they encourage everyone to come out and show their support. “This hits home,” Nihart said. “I see her every day outside playing. And for the department, anything we can do for the community, we’re always here and we’ll step up and do what we can.”
