Fire Destroys Mobile Home in Pittsfield, Displaces Four Residents

A fire broke out at 8:20 PM on Tuesday, June 25th, at a mobile home located at 683 Route 27 in Pittsfield, PA. Over ten units from Garland, Starbrick, Wrightsville, Spring Creek, and Youngsville Volunteer Fire Departments (VFD) responded to the emergency call. EmergyCare and the Pennsylvania State Police also arrived to assist. Firefighters faced significant challenges upon arrival, with flames already engulfing the mobile home. According to Garland Fire Chief, Kris Hodak, all residents were safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported, thanks to the quick actions of the volunteer firefighters and EMS. By 11:30 PM, the fire was completely extinguished, and the site was declared safe. The cause of the fire is yet unknown, with the investigation ongoing.
