VIDEO: Fire engulfed a dump truck and spread to overhead powerlines along a road in York County Wednesday morning. The Fairview Township Fire Department responded to the 400 block of Valley Road near Old York Road around 10:20 a.m. Valley Road was shut down at Old York Road. Officials were asking the public to avoid the area. From a distance, a thick plume of smoke could be seen billowing up into the sky. Photos closer to the scene show the truck on fire and several powerlines above it burning. Met Ed crews were called to the scene according to a Facebook post from the fire department. Police and fire crews remained on the scene.
