Explosion at Franklin County facility that injured three workers believed to be accident

First responders responded Tuesday morning to a reported explosion at a Franklin County facility, according to fire officials. Emergency dispatchers said crews were dispatched at 7:23 a.m. to Johnsons Controls Inc., located on the 100 block of Cumberland Valley Avenue. Police confirmed receiving reports of "an air chamber rupture." Emergency dispatchers confirmed that three people were transported with injuries, two of whom were flown. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. The three injured individuals were confirmed to be employees of the facility. According to Pennsylvania State Police, one of the victims has minor injuries, one has moderate injuries and one has serious injuries. All the injuries are non-life-threatening. Police said the incident was confined to the building.
