A resolution has been introduced to the House of Representatives honoring the man who lost his life at the Trump rally in Pennsylvania.
On Monday, July 22, a resolution honoring Corey Comperatore, who was killed during the July 13 Trump rally in Butler County while shielding his family from gunfire, was introduced to the House. The resolution aims to mourn Comperatore, a volunteer firefighter, and celebrate his “selfless and courageous life.”
U.S. Representative Mike Kelly (R-PA), who introduced the resolution, gave his sympathy to Comperatores’ friends and family. “Corey Comperatore exemplified what it means to be a man of service and sacrifice to his community, his country, and most of all, his family. This resolution is just one way members of Congress can honor his life and pay tribute to a true hero,” Rep. Kelly said.
