Two cats killed in house, business fire in Everett

VIDEO: Crews were at the scene of a fire that has spread from a house to a local business in Everett Thursday afternoon. The fire broke out along the 200 block of W. Main Street in Everett, Bedford County near Everett Foodliner. The fire started in the home and spread to First Impressions, a local hair salon. The fire also spread to a third structure behind the house, which was a trailer. No humans were injured, but two cats were killed in the blaze. Several other animals, including a turtle and some fish, were able to be saved. The cause has not been determined as of yet. At least six fire trucks from Everett, Bedford, Fulton, Blair and Allegany, MD, Fire Departments were on scene along with Raystown EMS, the American Red Cross and the Pennsylvania State Police.
