PHOTOS: A fire over the weekend that claimed the life of a pet is under investigation, fire officials said.
The Falls Township Fire Marshal said that fire crews were dispatched at 9:30 p.m. Sunday to the A section of Pennwood Crossing for a reported dwelling fire.
The Falls Fire Company was assisted by Levittown #1, Fairless Hills, Levittown #2, Morrisville, and the Edgely fire companies.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a well-involved home with all residents safely out of the residence.
Fire officials said that two cats escaped, but one did not.
There were no firefighter injuries, and the Red Cross responded to assist the occupants, fire officials said.
