VIDEO: A two-story home in Bensonhurst is now completely destroyed after firefighters responded to a two-alarm fire Thursday afternoon.
According to the FDNY, the call for the fire came in just after 2 p.m. at 314 Avenue P in Brooklyn between West 2nd and 3rd streets.
Now, the common question from neighbors is how the fire started.
"Nobody knows what's going on and I'm really scared," said local resident Natalia.
Natalia has been living next door for less than a year and she said there's been strange activity since she moved in.
"There was police like every other night doing something... something has been going on with this house, definitely," said Natalia.
The cause of this fire seems to be the question for many people living in this neighborhood.
