VIDEO: Multiple crews responded to a structure fire in Menands on Monday afternoon. The fire occurred at a house on the 600 block of Broadway around 2 p.m. Firefighters were met with heavy flames upon their arrival to the scene. Crews were able to get the blaze under control within 45 minutes, though the building reportedly sustained serious damage. A portion of Broadway remained closed to traffic while police and fire crews continued working in the area. Officials have not yet announced if anyone was hurt, or what caused the fire.
