VIDEO: Firefighters say a blaze that destroyed a Greenville auto shop was intentionally set and Greenville police say they do have a person of interest.
Crews were called to Komplete Auto Repair on Spruce Street around 6:00 a.m.
Battalion Chief Bryant Beddard says two dozen firefighters battled the blaze and had it under control in about 30 minutes.
The fire started in the front office, according to a news release. In addition to firefighters, Greenville police, the SBI, and ATF were at the fire scene today. A person, who was not a firefighter, was sent to the ECU Health Medical Center, after being injured, while firefighters say they found the remains of a dog inside the business.
Greenville police are now investigating who started the fire.
