PHOTOS: Winston-Salem firefighter rescued a dog Wednesday from a drain pipe
According to the fire department, the dog , which appeared to be a golden retriever, got stuck 20 feet inside a culvert drain pipe on Petree Road.
Multiple firefighter units were involved in the rescue.
The drain pipe is only a few blocks from Emmanuel Church of Winston Salem.
Firefighters did not say how the dog got stuck, but said it didn’t suffer injuries during the rescue.
