PHOTOS: No injuries were reported in an apartment fire Monday morning. The Columbia Fire Department responded to The Links in the 5000 block of Clark Lane around 8:25 a.m. for a report of a structure fire. Crews arrived within four minutes and extinguished the heavy smoke and flames within two minutes, CFD spokesperson Katherine Rodriguez said. Crews remained on scene for two hours to ensure all fire was extinguished. The fire was contained in one apartment building, but multiple units were affected, Rodriguez said. Columbia fire marshals are conducting a cause and origin investigation.
