PHOTO: Kansas City Fire responded to a house fire in the 50th block of East 55th Street just before 1:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25. Crews reported fire showing from the three-story home as soon as they arrived. The elderly couple living there were able to get out before emergency crews arrived. They are said to be doing okay. Multiple handlines were needed to get the fire under control. The cause is under investigation by KCFD.
