A Twin Cities man who suffered a serious brain injury in a falling tree accident two weeks ago died Saturday. Brian Huttner was a husband, father, firefighter with the Savage Fire Department and owner of the Pizza N' Pasta restaurant chain. A GoFundMe campaign is raising support his nine-year-old son, Aiden, and his wife and "soulmate", Julie, in the wake of the tragedy. "Please continue to pray for his family and everyone he now leaves behind," a fundraiser's organizer wrote. "We can’t thank you enough for your support of Julie and Aiden and financial gift. Julie was able to stay by his side until the very end." In a statement Saturday, the Savage Fire Department shared with "deep sorrow" the news of Huttner's passing. "Brian was involved in an off-duty accident on July 8," the department shared.
