One person injured after car crashes into home in Lansing

VIDEO/PHOTOS: One person is injured after a car crashed into a home in Lansing late Tuesday night. The crash happened around 11:48 p.m. in the 100 block of West Miller Rd, near the intersection with Coulson Court. Police said three people were in the car when it crashed into the home, an adult and two children, and the adult had to be taken to the hospital for evaluation. A Michigan State Police Trooper told News 10 the condition of the injured person was unknown. The two children in the car, whose ages were not specified, were not injured. No drugs or alcohol are initially believed to be factors into the crash, but the cause is still under investigation. The home that was struck by the car is vacant, according to the Lansing Fire Department. Lansing Police, Michigan State Police, Ingham County Sheriff’s Office and the Lansing Fire Department all responded to the scene.
