VIDEO/PHOTO: One driver is in the hospital with injuries Saturday afternoon after crashing a car into a Jackson church building. Jackson police responded to the crash at around 1:30 p.m. Their investigation shows that the car had swerved off the road and crashed into Word of Light Christian Center at 804 Alpine Drive in Jackson. Luckily, nobody was inside the church at the time of the collision. Responders transported the injured driver to the hospital. Right now, police said, no one is in custody. Michigan Fire Alerts has shared the photo of the crash with 6 News. Police said it’s not yet clear whether or not alcohol was involved in the crash.
