The Otsego County Fire Department stopped a structure fire at a Gaylord motel Sunday morning. Firefighters say the fire took place at the Timberly Motel around 8:30 a.m. They say the fire was coming from an apartment on the second story of the motel, and say the fire was under control just before 9:30 a.m. Firefighters say the building sustained heavy fire and water damage. No injuries were reported, but twelve people were displaced because of the fire and are being helped by the American Red Cross.
