A mobile home in Columbia Township appears to be a total loss following a Thursday morning fire.
Firefighters from three departments responded to a 7:40 a.m. alarm, Jan. 9, discovering the home on County Road 384, near 52nd Street, completely engulfed in flames upon arrival, according to the Columbia Township Fire Department.
All occupants had safely evacuated the residence prior to firefighters arriving at the scene, the department reports. Assisting the Columbia Township firefighters was personnel from the Bangor Fire Department and South Haven Area Emergency Services. LIFE ambulance and Michigan State Police were also on the scene.
The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
