One person was taken to a hospital after a crash in Newburgh Wednesday afternoon. It happened around 4:30pm on Western Avenue. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says a car hit the front wheel of a dump truck before hitting two other cars. We’re told the car then rolled over, and the driver had to be freed. The sheriff’s office says the driver has non-life threatening injuries. No name has been released at this time. There’s no word on what caused the crash which remains under investigation.
