VIDEO: The Brewer Fire Department has an impressive new addition.
The department was in need of a new table for firefighters to eat and gather.
Tony Cobb, who has been with the department for over 25 years, decided to get a new table as a gift for them for the day he retires.
He reached out to an old friend at Sider’s Woodcrafting for some assistance.
With help from other local businesses, they were able to make the purchase more affordable.
The department helped Sider’s when they had a fire in 2020, so they say they’re glad to help.
The final touch is having names of the current crew and the names of those who had a hand in making the table engraved on the table.
They say they’re happy to have this piece as part of their legacy at the department.
