VIDEO: For local fire departments safety is a top priority, and in an ever-evolving world where alternatively fueled vehicles are becoming more prominent, it's important to know how to respond in case of an emergency.
"The family atmosphere matters in the fire service," said Milford Fire/Rescue Acting Assistant Fire Chief Zack Carlow.
It was an evening of answering questions and, "Comradery," said Bradley Fire Department Fire Chief Eric Gifford.
"It's always wonderful for people to come in and show us new things," said Milford Fire/Rescue Firefighter Myah Worster.
On Monday, July 22nd, personnel from Milford Fire/Rescue and Bradley Fire Department were given safety training on two alternatively fueled vehicles to learn the hazards and how to respond in the case of an emergency.
