In the right place at the right time. That's how Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies describe a life-saving effort Saturday morning in Harrison. Cumberland County Patrol Lieutenant, Jim Estabrook, says they were responding to a shooting in Harrison Saturday morning. While Cumberland County deputies were investigating that shooting on Waterford Road, an off duty firefighter happened to be out on a walk when he noticed a car crashed into the rock embankment across from his fire station on School Street. He noticed a woman was still inside. A police sergeant who just left the shooting scene was close by too. "This woman was found unconscious in the car with no pulse," said Estabrook. Estabrook says that's when one of their sergeants arrived to the scene of the single car crash. Both the sergeant and the firefighter pulled the woman out of the car and began performing CPR.
