PHOTOS: Crews rescued the driver of an SUV after they drove down a mountain bike trail in Rockport and got stuck. The Rockport Fire Department says they got a call around 6 p.m. on Sunday from the driver of a Toyota RAV 4 who was lost and stuck on the Round the Mountain Trail somewhere in Rockport near Route 17. Officials say they were able to determine the driver’s location was behind Ragged Mountain and Mirror Lake on the mountain bike trail. Crews found the SUV stuck on a 6-foot-wide bridge about 2.5 miles down the trail. The driver was not hurt. Officials say crews used a UTV to get the driver out of the woods. Officials say crews used a tractor, impact guns, jacks, chains, and a lot of manpower to remove the heavily damaged SUV from the trail. The process took two-and-a-half hours to complete.
