The Fire Marshal’s Office says a fire last week at a closed restaurant in Eddington is considered suspicious but is still under investigation. Firefighters were called to Heritage on the 9 Restaurant and Tavern in the early morning hours of July 3rd. When crews arrived, they say about half of the building was on fire. Officials say no one was in the building at the time. According to their Facebook page, the restaurant closed last September for the season because of health concerns of one of the owners. The Fire Marshal’s Office is asking anyone who may have information about the fire to call them.
