A school bus in Bath snagged a low-hanging live power line Monday morning while on the way to school. The fire department shared pictures showing the power line draped across a back corner of the bus, which is operated by First Student. "We are very proud of all the students and the bus driver for staying calm and composed throughout the situation. They sat quietly and patiently until CMP arrived to resolve the issue," wrote the fire department on Facebook. "Kudos to these students for handling the unexpected with such grace." Crews from Central Maine Power responded quickly, removed the line from the bus and got it restored to the proper height. No one was hurt.
