A chaotic scene outside the Natural Living Center grocery store today after a car hit the front of the building.
The call came in just before 10 o’clock on Longview Drive right off of Stillwater Avenue for a reported car into the building.
The vehicle happened to strike the front side of the building.
Bangor Fire and Police were on scene immediately to access the damage.
Chad Bean, Lieutenant of the Bangor Fire Department said, “The driver was not injured, it appears that they mixed up the gas and the break pedal and just into the building. We have the Code Enforcement Officer from the City of Bangor coming over to take a look, it doesn’t appear that anything is structural.” Lieutenant Bean said as long as the Code Enforcement Officer gives employees the okay, the business should be able to remain open.
