The city of Lewiston officially has a new fire chief and police chief. David St. Pierre was sworn in as the new police chief, while Mark Caron was sworn in as the new fire chief of the city. Both have served in a variety of roles, including interim chief of their respective departments. " We have a great staff,” Caron said. “I look forward to working with all of them and building on the progress of prior chiefs and continuing on the proud tradition of Lewiston Fire Department." The new chiefs have both spent decades working in their fields.
