Firefighters from eight departments responded to a house fire in Glenburn Saturday night.
Officials say the call came in around 10 p.m. for the reported fire on Lancaster Brook Road.
Fire officials say the family living in the home was able to get out of the home safely without any injuries.
However two cats are still unaccounted for.
When they arrived on scene, officials say the flames had spread through the whole home and more.
“When we arrived on scene we had heavy fire conditions, from the basement to the upper floor and through the roof, and also a deck, a shed that was beside the house and two vehicles,” said Chris Lavoie, Glenburn Interim Fire Chief.
The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a cause.
