VIDEO/PHOTOS: A funeral was held Thursday for a Montgomery County firefighter who died following a battle with cancer.
Master Firefighter Yu-Lun (Will) Wu died Friday, May 11 at Suburban Hospital while surrounded by his loved ones, according to Montgomery County Fire officials.
Will lived in Aspen Hill, Md., and began working with the fire department in March 2008. He dedicated 16 years to the department and the residents of Montgomery County.
“In this time of grief, we humbly request that you keep the Wu family and the entire MCFRS family in your thoughts and prayers,” officials said.
Thursday morning, the funeral service was held at Lutheran Church of St. Andrew.
